March 19, 2019

Recently UpRisers on the Environmental Leadership Programme in London, Birmingham, Cardiff and Manchester got together to learn how to take their environmental campaigns to the next level. Our friends from and Purpose also came along to speak about effective and meaningful campaigning!

The weekend was filled with successful teamwork...

Group campaign development..

Lots of positivitree..

And endless cups of teas and coffees!

"I just wanted to say a big thank you for the past weekend, it was super informative and I am feeling a lot more confident about my Campaign now! It was really well organised and I felt like I learnt a lot!!" Rosie

"Great opportunity to get engaged and share the passion young people have for raising awareness of the impact of climate change." Jibril

"Was a great weekend to meet everyone and work with my group. Really helped us decide on a concrete plan and feel optimistic about our campaign future. Before the weekend we were unsure but we gathered our ideas and it came together." Nahimul

"A highly enjoyable and educational weekend with our inspiring speakers and co-ordinators! It was a fantastic experience to join up with Uprisers from across the U.K and discuss our social action campaigns with one another. It was also a great opportunity to bond within our teams and start forming ideas more intensively." Hana

"A really fun and engaging weekend planned by UpRising, it created the perfect opportunity for me to bond with my London cohort and meet UpRisers from across the country!" Mina

"I loved being in the same room as so many other passionate young people. I valued the time I spent with my social campaign group. I felt empowered to create change in my community." Emma
