Our work with Alium Partners shorlisted for a Dragon Award!

We are delighted that Alium Partners have been shortlisted for a Lord Mayor’s Heart of the City Award 2015 in the Best New Community Programme category for its work with UpRising, reaching out to young people from diverse under-represented communities in the local community who were facing employment challenges.

Roderick McInnes, Marketing and Communications Manager at Alium Partners, is delighted with the effect that their partnership with UpRising has had within the company. He said, “As a result of this project, Alium has now embraced a volunteering culture with nearly 70% of the team taking part in our Community Investment Programme. Feedback from clients and candidates confirms that our partnership with UpRising has benefitted both our corporate reputation and the young people in the communities where we operate, whilst Amanda Johnston, Head of HR Practice at Alium stated that working with the Fastlaners programme was a “positive and rewarding experience for all the staff involved”.

Alice Meminger, CEO at UpRising adds: “We are very pleased to be working with Alium Partners and we have had great feedback from the participants; it makes a huge difference for them to have access to the skills and knowledge of the Alium team, which helps them prepare for the world of work.”
