Paul Lewis

Paul joined Uprising in February 2019 after spending 6 years at the Prince's Trust in a range of roles, with his most recent role as a Project Manager leading the operational elements on some of their largest national scale partnerships, including M&S, Wilko and L'Oreal to name a few.

Paul has been a youth worker since he was a young person himself.  Over the past 18 years in a variety of roles, he has delivered, created and managed a range of local and UK wide projects to improve young people’s personal development and economic prospects.  Areas include open access youth work, mentoring, respite care, social action, music, theatre, employability and self employment.

As a speaker, he has delivered multiple guest lectures on community work and self employment at Manchester Metropolitan and BIMM University, and has recently been confirmed as a speaker at a TEDx event in June 2019 where he will speak about building relationships with young people.

A keen musician, he plays bass guitar at jazz gigs, makes his own tunes and is always searching for new hip hop, funk and jazz.  Ask him what he's listening to!
