The Art of Finance

 

The Art of Finance aims to raise awareness about the importance of financial literacy within the young black community (16-25). We will start by recruiting campaigners from colleges and universities with a large black population. By pairing an artist with the campaigners, we will create art that represents our audience’s feelings towards financial literacy. On specific days campaigners will take their art back into their educational institutions to use as a tool to engage with the target audience. These days will be known as financial literacy days within their educational institutes. Once engaged, we will educate our audience about the issue. Everybody engaged with The Art of Finance will receive a specially designed financial toolkit that will begin the process of financial education. Finally, with the use of both filming and social networking sites we will create further discourse on the issue.
