Manchester & Salford

UpRising is a part time leadership programme designed to open pathways to civic society and create future leaders in political and public life.  It recruits talented young people from diverse backgrounds and equips them with the skills, experience and confidence to become the leaders of tomorrow and create positive change in their communities.

The programme launched in Manchester & Salford in October 2012 and has recruited a diverse range of 19-25 year olds from across the cities. Over the course of the programme it will be hosting sessions across the local area and engaging with a wide range of organisations from large  private sector businesses to small community groups.
