You Press Win International Citizen Media Award 2011

You Press is an aspiring social enterprise that is co-founded by four UpRising Alumni; Le N Ho, Shahin Ullah, Ola Akin and Farah Mohammoud.
Recently You Press were extremely surprised and happy to find out that their hard work was recognized internationally. They have won 1st place for the International Citizen Media Award 2011 held in Germany for the Internet category. The award highlights the commitment of the international, European or national producers in reporting on local, regional and global socially relevant themes.
