Salamatu Kamara
Salamatu is 25 years old and was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone. She came to the UK in 2000 at the age of 15 and completed two years of secondary education, going on to college, during which time she completed an NVQ Business Administration Level I and 2 and later transferred to BTEC First, BTEC National and Advanced in Business. She is currently studying Combined Honours with Business Information Systems at University of East London.
Sally currently lives in a one bedroom flat by herself. She has been living on her own for over 6 years now and managing life and education without family support has not been easy for her.
Once she finishes university she plans to embark on the following career path and training: first she intends to study a Web design training course to have her own online business in to generate income to fund the rest of her career training. She will then move on to a literacy course to improve on her English Grammar and effective understanding of English. She then wants to study a course relating to book writing as she wants to write a novel about her personal experiences and struggles. Thereafter she wants to do a CIPD course in HR (Recruitment and Selection) and do some voluntary work mentoring young people.
The current SAP project that Sally is working on is the called Junior Entrepreneurs.
