Niaz Muhamad
Niaz is 24 years old, and a recent graduate looking for full time work. He is currently working part time in retail and also doing the UpRising leadership programme.
He has several career ambitions. One of his immediate ambitions is to secure a job within the business and financial industry or the public sector. Niaz wants to secure a senior position within five years of working within the sector. He also would like to buy an apartment abroad and go travelling within one year.
His social action campaign is called School Swap, and they are aiming to integrate children from different boroughs to improve community cohesion. Their idea is to bring students from different post-codes and break barriers of the ‘post-code’ culture.
Niaz takes inspiration from people. It could be family members, it could be people that he has met recently or it can be people from history. He recently met a CEO of a financial company and found him particularly inspiring.
