Two People, One Moment, Her Choice
‘Two People, One Moment, Her Choice’ is a project aiming to empower young disadvantaged women in Tower Hamlets to make informed choices around relationships and sex.
Women should be confident about making intelligent and informed decisions about their sexual choices and aware of the consequences of these choices. We are aiming to develop and run a peer led pilot programme for girls that explores self-esteem issues, relationships, cultural pressures and consequences of unplanned sexual intercourse. The aim is to increase self-esteem and empowerment of the girls as well as to decrease abortion and teenage pregnancy rates for disadvantaged girls in these communities.
