Polly Gannaway

Polly is 23 years old and currently the Business Development and Communications Co-ordinator at Slivers-of-Time Systems, a technology social enterprise in East London.

She is passionate about the business model of positive social change. Accordingly, she has worked on two projects at the Young Foundation, the first ‘Maslaha’ challenges the barriers between Muslim communities and wider British society; the second, ‘Studio Schools Trust’ sets up new schools that use project-based learning, real work experience and innovative concepts of pedagogy to foster learning for all students. Polly is also interested in how to bring about positive behavioural change through technology, planning and consumer strategies. She enjoys reading, writing (both novel-writing and online copywriting), and playing the cello with Kensington Philharmonic Orchestra.

Her project, Cycle, will initiate an alternative currency that rewards cycling and bike behaviour.
