Nilam Atodaria

Nilam is 19 and currently in the second year of her degree in International Relations at The University of Westminster. Other than that she also volunteers for UNICEF West London, UKYCC and Amnesty International (Westminster University group).

She doesn't know exactly what she wants to do in terms of career, however she does believe it will be something in politics/policy. Her SAC project is Grassroots, which essentially is about creating better community cohesion through the medium of sport. 

Right now, she is inspired by George Orwell. She is re-reading ‘Nineteen Eighty-Four’ and some of his essays on the time he lived in and his thoughts on what was going on. She admires that he said and what he thought, even if it was controversial.
