Ramon Monserrate
I’m 24 and currently on a work placement at a solicitor's practice.
My career ambition is to develop greater links between China and the UK. After spending one year in China and Taiwan studying mandarin Chinese, I have developed a passion about developing greater understanding between China and the country I have been brought up in, the UK. Not only do I feel both can gain from each other in terms of economic development, I strongly believe cross cultural, social and political understanding can enhance an already growing relationship between our two countries. In particular, I am interested in areas of international law implementation, especially with regards to human rights and rule of law development in the Mainland.
My SAP project aims to promote greater cultural diversity within Bedford.
I’m inspired by my mum, Wittgenstein and The Smiths.
